If a review is in the Closed stage, it means that the process has been completed for the academic year and either the reviewer has closed this off without feedback, or feedback has been provided by the reviewee and everything has been agreed to.
If a review is in the Closing stage, it means the reviewer has submitted it for feedback and it is currently awaiting a response from the reviewee.
If you have accidentally closed a review or submitted it for closing feedback, then you will need to move it back into the Active stage in order to continue working on it throughout the year.
Please note: Only the reviewer can recall a review.
Recalling a Closed Review
To recall a Closed review, navigate to the Performance Management Portfolio and click on the Closed section to expand it.
Click the Reset button alongside the review, then click Yes, Reset to Draft.
The review will then be moved back to Draft, however you need to move it into the Active stage, to get it back into a live position for both yourself and your reviewee to access and update.
To move the review back into Active, click on the Draft section to find the review you just reset and click Submit.
Then, at the bottom of the review, tick the box that says Skip feedback & activate PDP and then click Activate the PDP.
This will move the review back into Active, so it's where it needs to be, until the end of the academic year.
Recalling a Closing Review
If the review is in the Closing stage, it means that it has been submitted for end of year feedback and is currently with your reviewee. If this is a mistake, you can recall it by navigating to the Performance Management Portfolio, expanding the Closing stage and clicking Recall.
Click Yes, Recall Review when prompted and it will be moved back into the Active stage, so both you and your reviewee can access it until you are ready to close it at the end of the academic year.
