All Reviewers & Reviewees

We created the All Reviewers & Reviewees report so that you have a quick reference point for all staff in your school and who their reviewer is. If you need to know who is assigned to whom for appraisal, then this report will show you everything you need.

Please note that only the headteacher or a user with the Performance Management Moderator permission can access this report.

The report can be downloaded by clicking Reports on your main Perspective toolbar and then clicking All Performance Management Reports > All Reviewers & Reviewees.

Review Status Summary

The Review Status Summary Report summarises all performance reviews in your system and their current status. This is a great report to easily see exactly where each review is, so you can ensure staff submit their reviews and get the necessary feedback from their reviewees.

Please note that only the headteacher or a user with the Performance Management Moderator permission can access this report.

To download the report, click on Reports in your main Perspective toolbar, then select All Performance Management Reports, followed by Review Status Summary Report.

CPD Needs Summary

The CPD Needs Summary report gives you a summary of the performance management of CPD in your establishment. If you need a more detailed version, use the CPD Impact Detailed Report.

Please note that only the headteacher or a user with the Performance Management Moderator permission can access this report.

To download the report, click on Reports in your main Perspective toolbar, then select All Performance Management Reports before clicking CPD Needs Summary.

Use the Academic Year drop-down to select your date range, then click Download PDF.

Once downloaded, the report will give you a breakdown of what type of CPD Needs have been allocated to staff members. This saves you from having to look through each review manually.

If you notice that a particular staff member shouldn't have been allocated a certain CPD, or if a staff member is missing a CPD - you can chase this up with the reviewer, who can remove it/add it to their review accordingly.

If you are unsure how to add a CPD Need to a Performance Review, please read the relevant guide here.

CPD Impact Detailed

The CPD Impact report gives you a detailed look at the CPD Needs for staff in your account. The report will show you all of that person's CPD needs, dates and categories in one location.

Please note that only the headteacher or a user with the Performance Management Moderator permission can access this report.

To download the report, click on Reports in your main Perspective toolbar, then select All Performance Management Reports before clicking CPD Impact Detailed Report.

Select your filters here and click Download PDF when done. You can choose to group by either the reviewee surname or a particular CPD category, depending on what you are looking for.

You can use the CPD Categories drop-down to refine your search and only show specific categories. You can also use the Reviewees drop-down to limit the staff displayed in the report or the Academic Year field to change your date range.

Pay Recommendation Summary

The headteacher or a user with the Performance Management Moderator permission can access this report by clicking on Reports > All Performance Management Reports > Pay Recommendation Summary.

You will see that you will be able to include archived users.  This isn't selected by default; tick it if you want to include users archived from your account.

Once selected, you will be given an option to download a PDF version of the report or a CSV file. Select the relevant option.

This will download a CSV or a .PDF file onto your PC.  If you open it up, it will give you a breakdown of all the staff members in the school, what their current pay point is and if they have been recommended for pay progression by their reviewer.

It is worth remembering that the pay progression section should be filled in based on how the reviewee performed last year.  If you would like a breakdown of reviewees and their pay progression for this year, we recommend downloading the Pay Recommendation Detailed Report.

Once selected, you will get an option to download a PDF version of the report. You can choose whether or not to include archived users here as well.

Targets For Each Reviewee

This report will give a live breakdown of each target and its current status. This is useful as it means you can see an overview of which staff in your school are up to date with their performance review targets and who might need some assistance.

Please note that only the headteacher or a user with the Performance Management Moderator permission can access this report.

To download the report, click on Reports in your main Perspective toolbar, then select All Performance Management Reports, followed by Targets for Each Reviewee Report.

Targets Update Log

The headteacher or a user with the Performance Management Moderator permission can access this report by clicking on Reports > All Performance Management Reports > Targets Update Log.

This will download a .PDF document to your PC. Once opened, it will give you a breakdown of 3 sections (Inactive Targets, Targets Not Updated Within Specified Dates and Targets Updated Within Specified Dates).

Once a review has been agreed, this report will keep track of when a target was last updated, either by the reviewee or reviewer.  For a target to be classed as 'updated', information must be typed into any of the boxes on the target and saved.  Once saved, it will update the Last Updated column on the PDF.

If a staff member has not updated a target for a long time, it will appear under the Targets Not Updated Within Specified Dates section.  You may want to chat with the reviewer or reviewee that appears under this section, as they may not be keeping track of their targets.

You will need to download this report periodically.  As it is a static report, the information won't update automatically based on when targets are updated on Perspective.
