Access and contribution to the School SEF or Team Review in Perspective are controlled via SLT settings. Understanding these permissions ensures the right staff can view, contribute, and publish content effectively.
Setting Permissions
Members of the SLT can assign these permissions:
Navigate to Settings > Manage Users.
Select the relevant user.
Select the Teams tab:
1. Accessing the School SEF
Only members of the SLT can access the School SEF.
To be added to the SLT:
Headteacher navigates to Settings > Manage Teams > SLT.
Add the user to the team.
Once added, the user will be able to view the School SEF dashboard.
2. Contributing to SEF/Team Review
To add content or make judgements:
The user must have ‘Can Make Judgements’ enabled.
This permission allows them to input text, grades, and other review content into the School SEF or Team Review.
3. Publishing the SEF/Team Review
To agree and publish the School SEF or Team Review:
The user must have ‘Can Agree’ permission enabled.
Note: Only users with ‘Can Agree’ can finalise sections or approve the document for distribution to stakeholders.
