Using TILDA to Import your SEF

TILDA is your AI partner for effortless school improvement. If your SEF for the Ofsted 2025 framework has already been written, you can upload it directly into Perspective. TILDA will analyse, organise, and map it to the framework for you, providing a polished, ready-to-refine self-evaluation without the manual work.

TILDA will automatically scan your document, identify the content for each section, and place it into your SEF, so you can focus on refining, not retyping.

Import Your SEF

  1. Hover over Self Evaluation and select School.

  2. Ensure the Inspection Framework dropdown at the top of the page is set to Ofsted (2025).

  3. Click the Upload & Autofill button in the purple banner at the top of the page.

  4. Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click "choose a file" to select one manually.

  5. Click Import SEF Sections.

TILDA will then begin checking your content and, where possible, adding it into the relevant SEF sections. After processing, TILDA will display one of the following results:

  • Successful Import – All sections were imported successfully.

  • Partial Success – Some sections were imported; others may need review or were not included. Click here for more information.

  • Unsuccessful Import – TILDA couldn’t recognise the content format, or there was no relevant information. Click here for more information.

If your import was successful or partially successful and you choose to insert your available drafts, your SEF sections will automatically update. Each updated section will display a new Last Edited date, making recent changes easy to identify!

Existing Content

If you already had content in your SEF sections within Perspective, when importing a new document using TILDA may display a message similar to this:

You can choose whether to confirm and continue or cancel. If you proceed, the new content will be added into the main SEF section. To ensure you don't lose any work, Perspective automatically saves the existing section content in the Notes section of that SEF area.
